invited to a reception celebrating this new book published in
India by the Thomas B. Keehn family.
Gloria
Steinem, who has written the Foreword to INDIA INK,
will speak on Indias influence on her life and work
and on contemporary issues in South Asia.
Thomas
B. Keehn will report on the story of INDIA INK. The
book includes letters from India by Martha McKee Keehn during
the eight years the family lived there. Also included in INDIA
INK are 25 reproductions in color of the Keehn collection
of modern Indian art. Some paintings will be projected on
a screen during the reception.
The event
will be India friendly with appropriate music and refreshments.

Skirball Cultural Center
